I have noticed that other news articles conveniently leave out important details while reporting on the timeline of Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater’s relationship, as Ariana’s PR team is working overtime.

March 23, 2022: Another blind item is linked to Ariana/Dalton, amongst cheating accusations on Dalton's side. January 23, 2023: Reunited: Ariana and her husband Dalton are spotted having crepes at a restaurant in the UK, pictured.
A source close to Ariana and Ethan claimed that Ariana Grande "hung out" with Lilly and her newborn baby multiple times before her romance with her co-star was revealed, and even told those around her how much she "wanted a baby one day."
“Ariana met their baby and even held him,” the insider said. “They had dinners together in London, and Ariana told Lilly that she wanted to have a baby one day and that she couldn’t wait to start a family.”
Jay apparently knew Grande well since she had reportedly gone on double dates with the pop star and her then-husband, Dalton Gomez. The two couples allegedly hung out together frequently. “Ariana and Dalton went on double dates with Ethan and Lilly several times, and they were seen out by cast members," a source claimed. "Lilly and Ethan also met Ariana’s family together, including her mom and her brother."
Another source also alleges that Jay was aware of the affair but wanted to give their marriage another try. After Jay learned about the affair, she confronted Slater, and the two agreed to work on their marriage, the Daily Mail said, as well as the East Bay Times. Lilly Jay understood that her husband, an up-and-coming Broadway performer, was “starstruck” by Grande and bowled over by the glamour of being on a movie set with major stars for the very first time, the Daily Mail also said.
"There was a period when they were all going to try and work on their marriages and put the whole thing behind them," the insider claimed. "She thought they were happy. He [Ethan] was starstruck, he was a new dad in a new country who had never been on a major movie set before,” the sources told the Daily Mail. However, Jay eventually learned that Slater had continued his romance with the singer anyway, according to the Daily Mail, which was also reported by Cosmopolitan.
February 7, 2022: A blind item is posted regarding Dalton, claiming that he has bigoted tweets/texts from the past, and possibly an SA charge? Take blind items with a grain of salt. Blind items are notorious for not always being true, though. If this is true, it could be a source of tension in he relationship, since it could jeopardize Ariana's career to be dating a bigot, since it could get her cancelled.
February 2023: Ariana and Dalton shared loving Valentine's Day messages to one another. That's right, on Valentine's Day in 2023, Ariana Grande reshared a loving photo on her Instagram Story that Gomez had originally posted. The original photo was a selfie of the couple cozying up, which Gomez captioned "My forever valentine". Grande added "I love you" with a heart when she reshared it.
March 5, 2023: Somebody said they saw Ariana at the Soho House again with Ethan and Lilly.
March 12, 2023: Around now is the time when some of Ariana's songs got leaked, such as "Communicate", "Fantasize," and "He Had It Coming." She admitted that her records had been stolen and published to the public in her 2024 Zach Sang interview. All of these songs are extremely suspicious given the situation. Let's review them. First, let's take a look at the song "Communicate", about wanting a shy crush to text first.
This song was allegedly pre-recorded with Mikey (a person Ariana allegedly dated), and it was supposedly meant to go on her Positions album, but it was never officially released because she supposedly had a falling out with the producer guy, Mikey, who helped her create it. The lyrics are sus and unfortunate given the scandalous situation. Here are the lyrics in case the song gets taken down.
Next, let's review her song, "Fantasize," which is about fantasizing and thirsting over a guy with a girlfriend. It was allegedly pre-recorded years prior as a comedy skit for a scrapped TV show. Not a good look, though.
Oh, and apparently, there was this intro that was scrapped. It's unconfirmed if this intro is real or AI, but if it's real, oh girl, it's bad.
Finally, let's look at "He Had It Coming," which is, again, about having a crush on a flirty, deceptive guy with a girlfriend, and whatever happens was coming to him.
This song, "He Had It Coming," is a parody of a song from a musical called Cell Block Tango. It was allegedly pre-recorded years prior, but I'm not sure because it's lookin' sus as hell.
Here is the wiki page for the song "He had it coming", and here are the sus lyrics. It's not a good look, but again, this was allegedly pre-recorded, this time in 2021.

A blind item alleges that Ariana wants to leave her husband, Dalton. The blind item asserts that Dalton was terrorizing her, but that could be highly dramaticized or exaggerated and may not be true. April 3, 2023: Grande shares a tribute to her "Wicked" costars on an Instagram post
Ariana posted the "don't comment on my body" video, where she talks about how people don't know what she is going through.
May 14, 2023: Ethan Slater writes a Mother’s Day post to his wife, Lilly, on Instagram. Ariana liked the post. Ethan wrote, “Happy first Mother’s Day to the most loving caring and wonderful mom/person in the world.” (It originally said "wife," but I think he's edited the post since.)
May 15, 2023: Ariana Grande celebrates their 2nd wedding anniversary with Dalton Gomez in an Instagram story: “i love him so,” she captioned a black-and-white photo of herself and Gomez kissing at their wedding, adding that they had been together for three and a half years at the time. Also publicly confirms for the first time that she and Dalton have been together for 3.5 years (2019), as leaked earlier by the fan page. (1, 2)

Oh, and somewhere around this timeframe, Ariana Grande wears Ethan Slater's jacket on set, as if he's her boyfriend. Notice how the jacket she is wearing is actually Ethan's.
May 31, 2023: Ethan and Ariana film a Wicked scene together. Ariana and Ethan get very close on the Wicked set, while the cameras are not rolling. While details about the Wicked film have been kept very under wraps, a series of photos have been released that see Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater holding hands while on set, despite their characters not touching or being romantic at all during the movie.
"Ariana and Ethan weren’t careful,” Us reports. “They’d hold hands on set in between takes. They were sloppy and not hiding it.”
Furthermore, the insider says that the pair were so open with their romance during filming that the majority of the Wicked cast were aware that they were in a relationship.
Earlier this week, Us Weekly reported that Grande and Slater “connected” on the set and didn’t hide their feelings for each other. Us Weekly also reported that Jay was in the dark about her marriage being in trouble.

Source sent in to r/Deuxmoi claiming Dalton wasn't with Ariana on her birthday, instead she celebrated with Ethan Slater (and another woman). Dalton's sister confirms that Ariana didn't invite Dalton to her birthday party and brought Ethan instead.
Other witnesses confirm that Ariana's husband, Dalton, did not attend her birthday party.
July 10, 2023: According to a blind item, allegedly, Ariana wanted to go out with Dalton to see the Barbie movie, and he said he didn't want that because he is afraid of bad press embarrassing them, essentially. Again, take these blind items with a grain of salt.
July 14, 2023: FILMING ABRUPTLY ENDS ON WICKED SET DUE TO SAG / AFTRA STRIKE. From July 14 to November 9, 2023, the American actors' union SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) was on strike over a labor dispute with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP).
July 16, 2023: Grande is spotted at Wimbledon without her wedding ring.
“Ethan sat Lilly down a few days before the news broke about him and Ariana and said that he wanted a divorce,” the source revealed. “Lilly never saw it coming!”
July 17, 2023: News breaks that Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have separated. TMZ was the first to report the news, which People quickly confirmed. TMZ sources claim the pair are “heading toward divorce,” while a source tells People that Grande and Gomez “have been quietly and lovingly working on their friendship.” Grande deleted several photos of Gomez from her Instagram feed, though some remain. Sources claim that Ariana felt like Dalton wasn’t giving her enough attention as she would like, which left her feeling lonely. A source told Us that Grande was “determined to move forward” in the wake of her split. “As sad as it is, the consensus on both sides is that this is ultimately for the best. Ariana and Dalton are two very different people,” the insider explained.
July 19, 2023: Ariana Grande’s estranged husband, Dalton Gomez, reportedly isn’t handling their split very well. “Dalton has been devastated by it,” a source told US Weekly on Wednesday. “A separation is not what he wanted. He wanted the fairy tale, happy ending, and it’s not looking that way.”

Sources spoke with People. “While this entire situation has been blown out of proportion, it’s much different than what has been portrayed in public,” an alleged friend tells the publication. “They are just trying to navigate their new relationship in private.” Another source alleges their relationship timeline is much less scandalous than some believe. “The truth is, Ariana and Ethan didn’t begin seeing each other until after both parties were separated, respectfully,” a “close family friend” says. A third source says the couple (Ari & Ethan) is currently “doing their best to balance the fact that they are in the public eye with the desire to be respectful to all parties involved.”

Comments on the post are limited, but Ariana subtly showed her support with a “like” on the post.

September 18, 2023: Ariana officially files for divorce from Dalton Gomez.
September 19, 2023: A blind item comes out saying that Dalton will agree to lie about being separated from Ariana sooner (to make her look less like a cheater), for a payment.
September 22, 2023: Grande and Slater are reportedly spotted walking arm-in-arm at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
September 25, 2023: This blind item came out about Ariana cheating on Ethan.
October 4, 2023: Ariana and Ethan reportedly move in together.
A source tells Us Weekly the pair have reportedly moved in together. “Ethan informed his friends and soon-to-be ex-wife that he’s living with Ariana full-time in New York,” the insider says. “They’re really happy and really good for each other. All of her friends love him.”
October 7, 2023: Multiple publications report that Dalton Gomez and Ariana Grande have settled their divorce. According to TMZ, Dalton Gomez will receive $1,250,000 from Ariana Grande up front, as opposed to ongoing spousal support payments. Grande will also be on the hook for some of Gomez’s attorney fees, and the pair will split net proceeds from the sale of their LA home 50-50.

Sources close to Lilly Jay react to Ariana Grande’s new song, "Yes, And?" Ariana Grande is accused of showing a "complete lack of remorse" by friends of Ethan Slater's estranged wife, Lilly, after "utterly disrespectful" new single "Yes, And?" sees her hitting back at hate over their affair.
"For her to take the opportunity in her first song since all of this went down to show a complete lack of remorse for her actions is utterly disrespectful," the insider raged. However, a source close to Grande insists that the song is not a diss track, claiming that the timing of the song's release was a coincidence. March 8, 2024: Ariana Grande releases her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine, which chronicles her divorce from Dalton Gomez and the beginning of her relationship with Ethan Slater through 13 songs. A few messy things about Ariana's album, Eternal Sunshine:
- Fans have noticed that the initials of the album "Eternal Sunshine" are "E.S.", which are also Ethan Slater's initials.
- It is also notable that "Eternal Sunshine" is based on the name of Mac Miller's favorite movie, "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". Mac Miller is Ariana Grande's ex, with whom many fans think she's still in love.
- The movie "Eternal Sunshine" features Jim Carrey, Ariana's crush. Ariana Grande has a public obsession with Jim Carrey, as her first username online was "jimcarreyfan42". There are rumours about Ariana and Jim Carrey having an affair as well. Messy.

On the album’s operatic opening track, “Intro (End of the World),” she sings:

A source who claims to be close to Lilly was PISSED at the "the boy is mine" song!

March 9, 2024: Only a day after dropping her new album, Grande shares an open letter asking fans to stop sending “hateful messages” to the people in her life who may have inspired the lyrics, after fans sent hate mail to Ariana’s ex, Dalton Gomez:
“Hi, I just wanted to say anyone that is sending hateful messages to the people in my life based on your interpretation of this album is not supporting me and is absolutely doing the polar opposite of what I would ever encourage (and is also entirely misinterpreting the intention behind the music)... i ask that you please do not. it is not how to support me. it is the opposite. although this album captures a lot of painful moments, it also is woven together with a through line of deep, sincere love. if you cannot hear that, please listen more closely."
A source close to Lilly told the Daily Mail that, "Ariana’s new album just shows what kind of woman she truly is. To sing a song called 'The Boy Is Mine' is not only a slap in the face to his still wife Lilly, but a slap in the face to all women."

Ethan seems to be enjoying his newfound fame. This relationship has really brought him into the spotlight, which he seemingly enjoys. Here is a video of him signing autographs in New York City.
Sources have also claimed that Ethan Slater and his wife, Lilly Jay, are still in constant contact because they want to co-parent their son.

In the essay published for The Cut on Thursday, Jay also emotionally opened up about their divorce and the "public downfall of her marriage."

During her latest outing ahead of the Christmas holiday, Jay was seen bundling up in a pair of dark gray leggings as well as a gray puffer coat. She slipped into a pair of black boots while walking along the snow-covered sidewalks and pulled back her locks into a simple bun at the back of her head. Jay later added a pair of thick gloves to her hands to help her stay warm in the cold, winter temperatures. Slater's ex-wife was also joined by her father as the trio ran a few errands, such as grabbing a warm drink from a local coffee shop. They also stopped by a barber as her son got a quick trim, and later picked up a few items from a supermarket.

Lilly expressed that there are "days when I can't escape the promotion of a movie associated with the saddest days of my life are darker' as she tries to 'accept the sudden public downfall of my marriage."

She also wrote about how the split affected her job and reflected on "the unfairness of a public divorce."

In regards to the "sponge" analogy in the essay, the insider stated that it had been a dig at her ex. He notably played the character of SpongeBob on Broadway. The "sponge" analogy was a subtle jab at the situation, but now that her story is out, she feels liberated. Though she was approached by nearly every media outlet, Lilly didn't want to give an interview until she was ready. She wanted to control her own narrative and tell her story on her own terms. And she did just that.
Following the essay, Ethan was also slammed by fans on social media over his 'deeply disappointing treatment' of Lilly.
One penned on X, "Ethan slater IS an horrible person idk why some of y'all defending him and im sorry but theres no man on earth, especially NOT that one who's worth any of this."
Another added, "Did not know lily jay was a therapist... her article is so well written and ethan slater is trash and i hope ariana wakes up and realizes that a man who leaves his post partum wife is not a forever kinda person lol."
"Ethan Slater is the worst type of person. His relationship with Ariana will be over within a year, promise," one wrote, while a fan typed that the actor, "is a truly horrible person for what he put his ex wife through."

Ariana talked to Mac Miller on Twitter in 2012.In this video on Reddit, it's a video of Ariana livestreaming, talking to fans when her phone gets some notifications, and she visibly gets overwhelmed and excited for a bit, but doesn't say anything. Then her phone starts ringing, she picks up, and it's Mac. She puts him on speaker, and he says, "hi." I am pretty sure this was right around when he first hit her up in 2012, maybe 1-2 weeks, max would be a month, before they did the “Baby it’s cold outside” duet. Mac Miller was dating Nomi around this time.
