2008: Ariana began dating Graham Phillips in 2008 after starring together in the broadway musical "13".
October 2009: Ariana and Graham were dating and inseparable throughout 2009, up until October when Ariana started filming Victorious in Los Angeles; meanwhile Graham was filming his own show in New York. They made it work through visits but were primarily long distance in 2010.
December 10, 2009: Ariana meets Christian Fortune while filming the “Robarazzi” episode of Victorious. He continued to tweet her a few more times and sometimes even got a reply. He has a gf at this time, Ricky Valentina.
His gf, Rikki Valentina, went viral (in the present day) on Tiktok for revealing that had Christian cheated on her with Ariana in 2010. When she told Ariana that Christian had played them both, Ariana blocked her and allegedly continued to see him anyway.
And we have the receipts to prove it!
June 2, 2010-December 7, 2010: Christian started promoting her covers and asking people to follow Ariana. “Shoutout for shoutout” was a popular social networking tactic to grow followers back in the day. Ariana's twitter was deleted but we're pretty sure she recriprocated.
Late October, 2010: Ariana invited Christian to her dressing room for lunch, which was discovered later.
November 13th 2010: Ariana's bf Graham Phillips when to Ariana's Christmas party.
The week of November 18, 2010: Christian and Rikki break up.
November 18, 2010: Ariana tweets a photo then makes it her Facebook profile picture in honor of the new Harry Potter movie. The very next day, Christian changes his profile picture to match hers, so now Ariana and him having matching profile pictures (a romantic gesture).
The matching pictures and smiley faces posted to each other’s Facebook walls convinced Christian's now-ex-gf, Rikki, to log into Christian’s account and check his messages. This is when she found a bunch of old flirty messages between him and Ariana. She claimed they were sending winky faces, and sometime in late October Ariana invited Christian for lunch in her Victorious dressing room. Rikki proceeded to message Ariana on Facebook to let her know he had a girlfriend while they were meeting up but claims Ariana blocked her with no reply.
December 6, 2010: Rikki’s friend tells her that they saw Christian and Ariana together at Jasmine Villegas’ party the night before. So now they realy were together, we suppose.

March 19, 2011: Graham hints that he and Ariana are back together, confirming they had been broken up, and she comments a smiley face. (The orginal poster covered their names for privacy but mentions Ariana was going by a fake last name - Ari Dicaprio)

August 14, 2011: One week after Ariana and Graham attend a Katy Perry concert together, Jordan posts his first Instagram picture of Ariana. Ariana can be seen kissing Jordan on the cheek. She's still dating graham at the time btw.
December 7, 2011: Ariana and Graham walk the red carpet together for an event but break up later that month, seemingly because he was going off to college. Clearly they are on good terms because she sends him Princeton cookies in support.
July 1, 2012: Ariana follows Australian youtuber Jai Brooks on twitter after seeing his tweets about crushing on her and Jai responds, calling Ariana his girlfriend.
Jordan, her actual boyfriend, is clearly uncomfortable with it. He knew in his gut this wasn't just another fan, this was an attractive guy who wanted her and peaked her interest enough to follow him.
July 12, 2012: On what would have been their 6 month anniversary, Ariana and Jordan allude to a breakup via twitter. Ariana then posts a picture that looks like she’s been crying which sends a ton of hate Jordan’s way.
Ariana and Jai will later retell their love story many times and it always begins with this keek video. In reality, she got back together with her ex boyfriend Jordan right after this while she and Jai continued to talk.
July 29, 2012: Jordan tweets about Ariana, referencing their Rugrats characters, hinting that they've made up or are back together.
Jai does not tweet about Ariana for all of August but Jordan's tweets are alot happier.
July 31, 2012: Jordan posts a picture holding Ariana, subtly letting people know they were back together.
November 22, 2012: Ariana and Mac Miller tweet each other for the first time. Mac tells her he'd like to collaborate with her and to check dms. This is when they become friends.

December 17, 2012: Ariana posts an instagram photo of her and Mac's hands; she/they also starts writing "The Way" (a romance song they made together) at this time.
In this video on Reddit, it's a video of Ariana livestreaming, talking to fans when her phone gets some notifications, and she visibly gets overwhelmed and excited for a bit, but doesn't say anything. Then her phone starts ringing, she picks up, and it's Mac. She puts him on speaker, and he says, "hi." I am pretty sure this was right around when he first hit her up in 2012, maybe 1-2 weeks, max would be a month, before they did the “Baby it’s cold outside” duet. Mac Miller was dating Nomi around this time.
December 12-30, 2012: Ariana played Snow White in a local stage production. In 2022, Mac's friend DJ Clockwork talks about the time he and Mac went to see her in this play. Clockwork says Mac referred to her as "this girl I'm talking to".. We believe that Mac had a gf, Nomi, during this time.

December 30, 2012: Ariana posts a twitlonger recapping her year and mentions the time she was "heartbroken” over her backup dancer and Jordan is done with this narrative!Jordan clears his name and says Ariana started talking to Jai while they were still together and then she ended things to pursue that relationship.
December 31, 2012: Jai and Ariana meet in person for the first time and spend the next couple weeks together.
January 11, 2013: Jai goes back home to Australia.
February 6, 2013: Ariana posts a cute picture of Mac Miller in the studio while recording her first single, "The Way."
February 10-11, 2013: Ariana and Mac make out while filming "The Way" music video. Mac said this was an on the spot suggestion from the director. Also kisses his cheek in a behind the scenes polaroid, though, which is a bit much.
February 20, 2013: Ariana posts a picture of her and Jai to tumblr from the Popular Song video shoot with a troubling caption. The next day it's reported that they've broken up, confirmed by Ariana’s representative. We eventually learn this was over Jai’s suspicions of Mac Miller.
March 13, 2013: Ariana starts reblogging pictures of Jai on tumblr again.
March 16, 2013: Jai posts a photo of himself and Ariana to instagram, confirming they are back together. They continue to date long distance for the next 5 months with Jai making frequent trips to Ariana in LA.
March 25th, 2013: "The Way," featuring Ariana Grande and Mac Miller, was released.
It was widely reported that Mac Miller cheated on his long-term girlfriend, Nomi Leasure, with Ariana after they’d collaborated on a song together called "The Way" and kissed in the music video, off script. They make out with tongues!
Mac's girlfriend, Nomi, announced they broke up shortly after.
Mac shut down rumors that it had to do with Ariana because "That’s the homie. She’s got a boyfriend and everything."
Although Mac and Nomi briefly split, they ultimately got back together and remained together until later.
Nomi also confirmed in a Tumblr post that Mac had cheated on her during their relationship, but did not name Ariana specifically, although it was implied.

May 28, 2013: Ariana performs The Way with Mac on The Ellen Show and shows off her flowers from him.
July 2013: Ariana and Jai Brooks broke up because he accused her of cheating on him again.
July 16, 2013: Jai joins Ariana for a radio interview and gets asked how he felt about Ariana’s kiss scene with Mac because "Mac said ‘I heard her boyfriend was pretty mad about it’."

August 4, 2013: Ariana and Nathan Sykes meet for the first time while filming the "Almost Is Never Enough" music video and get close on set.

July 7, 2015: TMZ leaks surveillance footage of Ariana licking display donuts, declaring she hates Americans/America, being rude to a worker and insulting the food then kissing Ricky. It was controversial but also confirmed Rickiana.

Some blind items came out about Jim Carrey trying to get with Ariana regardless of his marriage to his wife.
