When you are sick, your stomach and liver are already working hard. Stick to blending 2 or 3 gentle herbs at a time rather than mixing a dozen different things together. Keeping the tea simple makes it much easier on your digestive system.

A herbal shot that is good for Killing Parasites in your body:

  • Oil of Oregano - This is a potent antimicrobial containing carvacrol. It is highly irritating to mucous membranes.
  • Papaya seeds - Some small pilot studies have shown that dried papaya seed pellets can help clear certain intestinal parasites in specific tropical regions. Just don't eat too many because it can cause a severe tummy ache if you overdose!
  • Cloves - This plant contains a powerful compound called eugenol, which can kill certain microbes and insect larvae on surfaces in lab dishes.
Be careful not to overdose on this stuff because it can also fuck up your stomach lining and make you sick.

A tea blend that helps you Lose Weight:

  • Dandelion leaves - They have a diuretic effect that helps you shed water weight, reduce bloating, and they also block fat absorption as some studies show that dandelion extract can inhibit pancreatic lipase, mimicking weightloss medications on a smaller scale.
  • Oolong tea - This tea releases a chemical called L-theanine in the body, which is an amino acid that aids in stress relief and promotes "fat browning," which encourages fat cells to burn rather than just sit there. L-theanine triggers an enzyme in the body calld AMPK as well, which acts like an energy switch to signal the body to stop storing fat and start burning fuel instead. The caffeine in the tea strongly enhances this effect, as caffeine signals the body to break open fat cells and release fatty acids into the bloodstream. the L-theanine help ensure those fats are actually oxidized by the liver and muscles.
  • Hibiscus - This flower acts as a natural fat-blocker that prevents your body from absorbing excess carbohydrates and fats, because it contains natural compounds that bind to pancreatic lipase (the chemical enzyme that breaks down fats). This makes the fats pass right through you. It also slows down your absorption of starch and sugar so fewer carbs get stored as fat. Lastly, it shrinks fat cells due to its antioxidents that turn off the specific genes responsible for fat accumulation. It stops fat cells from growing larger. SAFETY WARNING: Hibiscus can lower blood pressure, so please avoid it if you already have low blood pressure or on certain medications, and it is also unsafe to consume during pregnancy!

I am personally overweight due to the medication that I am on, but since I'm poor I would not want to waste food or precious calories that I can barely afford. However, I don't want to become diabetic, and so I am considering using this tea to help me get healthy. If you are already underweight please don't drink this tea.
