As we age, our skin loses its ability to produce as much moisture as usual, resulting in a lot of dehydration wrinkles on our faces. Obviously, some of these wrinkles are also just straight-up from aging. But honestly, skincare seriously does do wonders. Here's my skincare routine!

Ways to sneak more protein into your diet

On average, the protein you should eat daily can be calcuated by multiplying your body weight by 0.7

For example, I'm 170 lbs. (and 170 * 0.7 = 119) so I should be eating about 119 grams of protein each day to build muscle.

I'm trying to gain muscles but it seems almost impossible to consume enough protein everyday, so I'm going to keep a record here of some ideas on how to sneak more protein into your diet.

A tea blend for a Sore Throat:

• Peppermint Tea: Contains menthol, which acts as a mild, natural numbing agent to soothe a raw, scratchy throat.
• Chamomile Tea: Naturally anti-inflammatory, it helps reduce swelling in your throat tissues. It also promotes relaxation to help you sleep.
• Marshmallow Root or Licorice Root Tea: These herbs contain mucilage (a thick, gooey plant substance). It creates a soothing, protective coating over your throat to stop the pain from coughing.
• Slippery Elm: Similar to marshmallow root, this bark becomes slightly slick when mixed with hot water. It forms a soothing layer over a raw, burning throat to protect it from irritation.
• Cinnamon: it's naturally antimicrobial and adds a warming, comforting flavor that makes bitter herbal teas taste much better.
• Add honey for its anti-bacterial properties.
• Add lemon for some vitamin C and acidicness that helps cut through thick phlegm.
